10 Questions To Guide You Into Your New Era
Are you ready to step into your new era? The end of 2024 is fast approaching and if you haven’t yet taken a moment to pause and reflect, make sure you add these 10 questions to your end of year reflection.
With your pens at the ready, get ready to ask yourself 3 questions on the past year, 3 for any insights you have gained and finally 4 intention questions to set yourself up and confidently enter your new era.
Reflecting on the past year
1. What moments were the most memorable for me this year?
- No matter how big or small, write them down and explore how they were special.
2. How did I grow this year?
- Include emotionally, mentally, spiritually, any areas you’ve seen growth and any new qualities you may have developed.
3. What was the biggest lesson/challenge I faced this year, and what did I learn from this?
- Identify any struggles you’ve had this year and explore how you may have overcome them or ways you could overcome them in future.
Gaining Insight:
1. What are the things I am most grateful for this year?
- Moments of gratitude help to reflect on the positives. Write as many as possible and reflect on why you are grateful for them.
2. What does my dream life look like? Am I close to achieving this?
- Visualise this, write it down, make a vision board and get an idea of what your dream life looks like. You can then assess how far or how close you are to achieving this and set up the next steps to get there.
3. Were there things that drained my energy this year? How do I minimise this?
- Whether it be certain activities, situations you’ve faced or the people around you, how can you minimise this from affecting your life next year and onwards.
Setting Goals & Intentions:
1. What major change can I implement into my life next year?
- Choose one area in your life you want to change and write about the first step you’ll take in order to get the ball rolling. Eg) health and fitness, career, study etc
2. What are my goals for next year?
- Start with a small list and add to it as you go, just ensure you write why these goals are meaningful to you. This will be a great reminder of why you want to achieve these.
3. How can I change my daily routine to ensure it is intentional and aligned with achieving my goals?
- Small steps turn into big achievements, evaluate your daily habits and routine and what changes you can make that reflect your priorities next year.
4. What limiting beliefs do I need to let go of to achieve my goals?
- Identify what it is that is holding you back from achieving what you set out to achieve and how you can let this go and propel yourself forward.
